If you’re new to chiropractic Dr. Sims will explain the purpose of the chiropractic adjustment and discuss the different parts of the nervous system. As the nervous system is the master controller of the body it’s essential that it be free of interference. When there’s interference in the nervous system you can experience pain, loss of function, disease, and more. The chiropractic adjustment removes interference so your body can function optimally and be pain-free.

Applied Kinesiology Testing
This method involves simple muscle testing to help us uncover the structural, chemical, and mental problems that may be present in your body. AK testing also can direct Dr. Sims to the best options to restore a patient’s health.
Palmer Package
This collection of techniques was taught at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, the birthplace of chiropractic. The techniques used as part of the Palmer Package are Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, and Toggle Recoil.
Trigger Point Therapy
The primary objective of this therapy is to reduce the pain resulting from hypersensitive muscles. Identifying trigger points (knots in the muscles) is done by lightly pressing on the skin’s surface, feeling the texture of the underlying muscle.
